The Books...
As I have said before on the homepage, you can read books about what happens in my life from time-to-time. Here is some some information about each book so far. (yeah i know it isn't about Anya, but it's about me!)
BOOK 1 - The Stray
My story begins. I start out as a stray cat living in pipes and along big roads and such, and I fall asleep dreaming about being picked up by a boy named Jared and taken to live with a beautiful she-cat named Saphire. Little did I know then, but that actually happened. Saphire told me we were only allowed on the deck because of a tradgic accident that happened to her previous mate-to-be. Then Red comes along and I feel suspicious of him all because of his blood-red eyes. But something happens that changes my life, and view of Red forever...
BOOK 2 - The Wolf
I begin by telling the future...the first book explains it all. I wake up to find a mysterious letter on the kitchen table. Then something happens. Something that changes my life as I know it. Then I find my long-lost brother. He brings a wolf named Mhul. But I don't feel very confident around Mhul. I just don't know why. And I have Red still to deal with. He's like a tick. He won't let go of you, and only certain things get him off. Good things those things are my friends!! Then I take Mhul to the forest. Mistake. He lets me know something that makes my life go from weird to weirder...and scarier...
The Book's Life History...
Want to know how Anya got the idea?
"I love animals and especially cats. I come from Russia and my favorite cat is called a Russian Blue," --or more commonly known as a blue-gray cat which I am-- "so I wanted to write a story about how life would seem like to a Russian Blue."
How it all began...
"I was bored one day and I had done all I could think of. 'Darn it all', I thought. 'Nothing to do on a rainy day!' Then it came to me. I like to write, I like cats, I like to write fictional stories, and I had nothing to do. 'I'll start a cat book!' I thought. So it all went into progress. I started out with the basic storyboard: ideas, pictures, etc. I started to create a folder in my desk that had all of my essential things needed for my book I was going to create. It had my files, pictures already done, and storyboard. When I knew I had all the things I needed on my checklist, I flew to my computer. As soon as I started, it was very hard to stop. My fingers whisked across the keys like wildfire that you couldn't quench and soon, in about a year, my book was finished! I had my father, Andrew, and my sister, Leih, proofread it. It needed work...a lot of it. So I sat down at my 'workspace' and began to type the corrections. I wanted to get this book done and published for people to read," --which it's not yet, for it's still in progress-- "and soon my corrections were done...FINALLY! (I finished yesterday, 2-1-2010) So that's how the story began."
What do I think about it?
Personally, I love it. I think people should know about my life as a cat and how I see things.
